| NEVADA – Jesse Boyler and Terrance Callagan combined
for 208 rushing yards and four touchdowns at Braves Field to help Commerce remain
undefeated in District 10-3A play. |
| Boyler racked up 65 of his 114 rushing yards on a scoring
run up the gut that iced the game with 4:33 remaining. Callagan had a pair of 1-yard
rushing touchdowns, including a dive over the top that gave Commerce (3-2, 2-0 in
district) a 21-3 advantage midway through the fourth quarter. |
| Boyler also came up with a second-quarter interception to
lead a defense that limited Nevada Community (2-3, 0-1) to 5-of-20 passing. Receiver Drew
McClendon had all five of Nevada Community’s receptions for 107 yards. |
