Commerce Drowns Lake Dallas

LAKE DALLAS - Chalk one up for the defense as the Commerce Tigers
forced three timely turnovers and held Lake Dallas to just 200 yards of
total offense to take an 18-0 non-district win over the Falcons Friday
night at Schultz Stadium.
And Commerce, which improved to 2-0 on the young season, needed
their defense to stand up as the offense was held to just 130 total
yards by an equally stout Lake Dallas defense.
But Commerce won the defensive battle as Demarcus Harrison
intercepted two Lake Dallas passes, returning one 66 yards for a
touchdown, and Commerce stopped the Falcons twice deep in Commerce
territory.
