The Cone/Christmas Tree Nebula and IC447 Complex
This area of nebulosity in the constellation Monoceros has several areas of note. IC 447 is the blue reflection nebula to the right. Hubble's Variable Nebula is close to the bottom of the frame at left of center and appears as a small, comet-shaped cone pointing down. The Cone and Christmas Tree nebula complex are slightly to the left of center, but the associated nebulosity fills out the entire frame.
This image is a composite of a Kodak E200 and hypered Kodak Technical Pan film. The photographic instrument is a Takahashi BRC 250.
