Gamma Cygnus - 6 degree Field

This region of central Cygnus is full of emission nebula. The image below covers a full 6 degrees and has several classified regions of nebula and star clusters. The brighter nebulosity across most of the field is IC 1318. There is a Messier cluster M29 centered about  1/3 from the left. There is a NGC cluster 6910 just right of the bright yellow star Sadr and at far right is the blue reflection nebula NGC 6914. There are dozens of other classified objects in the below image of this rich area of the central Milky Way.

This image is a three-frame mosaic; each frame being two 60 minute exposures of Kodak E200 color film and one 50 minute exposure of hypered Kodak Technical Pan film.  Total exposure time 8 hours 30 minutes. The photographic instrument is a Takahashi BRC 250.
